Steve Kirby

Steve Kirby is a founding partner of Bluestem Capital Company. He is a graduate of Arizona State University with a BS Degree in Political Science and a graduate of the University of South Dakota School of Law with a Juris Doctorate Degree.

Mr. Kirby was secretary and senior claims counsel for Western Surety Company, a national surety bond company, from 1977-1992. He was the 35th Lieutenant Governor of the State of South Dakota from 1993 through 1995. He was also a candidate for Governor of South Dakota in 2001-2002. Mr. Kirby is a member of local, state and national Boards of Directors. He is a speaker at various entrepreneurial and college forums.

In 2007 Steve was recognized with the Spirit of Enterprise Award from South Dakota's Enterprise Institute for his commitment, dedication and achievements in entrepreneurship. Steve has also been awarded the 2007 Spirit of Sioux Falls in recognition of his leadership and economic development in Sioux Falls. In 2010 he received the USD Financial Management Associations Outstanding Financial Executive award.

Steve is married to Suzette (Hustead) and their children are: a son Jon and his wife Tracy and family living in Sioux Falls, a daughter Kelly who is a graduate of the University of Saint Thomas Law School, and daughter Katherine who is attending Bethel University.

Robert E. Lund serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of eGistics. He has over 30 years experience in the technology industry, starting as a programmer trainee at EDS. Prior to joining eGistics he provided services to two private equity firms, Trident Capital and Morgan Stanley Venture Partners.

Lund has held the CEO position in several public and private technology companies. They include Collegis, a provider of outsourcing to colleges and universities; ITI, a publicly held telecommunications firm; S-2 Software, a global provider of electronic funds transfer software; and People's Telephone Company. Additionally he was CEO of Intrepid Technologies, an information technology investment firm and chief operating officer of Newtrend, an outsourcing and software provider to the financial industry until its sale to EDS. Collegis, Intrepid and Newtrend had common ownership. From 1988-1990, Lund was the president of the Payment Services Division of EDS.

Lund graduated from Holy Cross College and served as an aviator in the United States Marine Corps.

Donald R. Dixon

Don Dixon is a Sr. Managing Director of Trident Capital, and has been with Trident since co-founding the firm in 1993. From 1988 to 1993, Don was Co-President of Partech International, a private equity fund manager associated with Banque Paribas. From 1983 to 1988, he was a Managing Director of Alex. Brown & Sons. Earlier in his career, Don was a Vice President of Morgan Stanley & Co. and a Senior Account Officer at Citibank, N.A.

Don also serves as a director of AccountNow, Advanced Payment Solutions, ByteMobile, Clarus Systems, Merchant e-Solutions, Neohapsis, Profex, Qualys, RoyaltyShare, Solexant and Syndero. He is also on the investment committee of Mustang Ventures, an affiliated China fund of Trident Capital Fund VI.

Don's past directorships include Affiliated Computer Services (ACS), Anasazi Inc. (acquired by Pegasus Solutions Inc.), BankAmerica Merchant Services, Inc. (BPI), BlueStar Solutions (acquired by ACS), CSG Systems International, Inc (CSGS), Epicor Software Corporation (EPIC), Epoch Partners (acquired by Goldman Sachs), Evolving Systems, Inc. (EVOL), InfoUSA, Inc. (IUSA), Pegasus Systems, Inc. (PEGS), Signio (acquired by Verisign), Sygate Technologies (acquired by Symantec) and Unison Software, Inc. (acquired by IBM).

Don earned his B.S.E. from Princeton University and his M.B.A. from Stanford Graduate School of Business. Don is Co-Chairman of the Advisory Committee of the Princeton University School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.

Brendan F. Reidy

Brendan Reidy is currently the President, Chairman and CEO of Clarus Systems, Inc., a leading provider of automated testing solutions to certify the implementation and ongoing operation of IP Telephony Systems.

From January 2002 through February 2005 Reidy acted as an independent consultant providing strategic services to telecommunications and financial services firms. During that time he also served as a Venture Partner and Entrepreneur in Residence for Trident Capital a private equity firm based in Palo Alto, California. From November 2000 through December 2001, Reidy served as Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development of Latis Networks, Inc., a provider of network management services. He has also held various senior management positions at Qwest Communications International/US WEST and served as Vice President and General Manager of Litton Integrated Automation.

Reidy was cofounder and Vice President, Sales and Marketing of Software Alliance Corporation.  Reidy also serves on the board of directors of Evolving Systems, Inc. and Aran Technologies.

Reidy received his A.B. from Stanford University and M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Talbott L. Simonds

Talbott Simonds is a Managing Director for Investments at Tondern Capital. Tondern Capital is the New York affiliate of The Hillman Company, a private, family investment office located in Pittsburgh, PA with a broadly diversified portfolio focused on alternative assets. Simonds joined Tondern Capital in 2004.

Prior to Tondern, Simonds was a Vice President at Trident Capital in Palo Alto, CA and previously worked in Investment Banking at Robertson Stephens. He currently serves on the boards of numerous non-profits. Simonds received an AB from Princeton University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

George F. Thomas

George Thomas has over 25 years of experience working in the financial services industry, primarily with electronic payment systems. He has a strong technology background coupled with extensive knowledge of the Automated Clearing House (ACH), the wire transfer systems - Fedwire and the Clearing House Interbank Payments System (CHIPS), SWIFT and check clearing including the development of the leading private-sector Check Image Exchange system. He specializes in risk management, business to business payments, check conversion and account to account payments.

Before forming Radix Consulting, Thomas was an Executive Vice President of The Clearing House Payments Company (TCH). He joined the Clearing House in 1981 and served in a number of positions through his retirement in 2007.

Thomas served on the Board of Directors of NACHA for fourteen years and as a member of the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP) Payments Advisory Group for four years.

Thomas has a permanent Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) certification. He was the 2007 recipient of the Kevin O'Brien ACH Quality Award for his work on ACH risk management.
