Healthcare Project Manager

Position Description

Reporting to the Director of Development, the Healthcare Project Manager is primarily responsible for the planning, directing and monitoring of all aspects of healthcare related projects with a high degree of technical complexity. The Project Manager will provide process expertise and act as the primary contact for all clients on external projects and internal stake holders on internal projects. This position will work closely with the Development, IT and Customer Care teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

Involved in business development, managing contracts, clients and the project team.
Establish and maintain client relations and production meetings.
Responsible to coordinate workload with project team through the entire project development and to complete documents on schedule.
Lead all aspects of large scale system implementation life cycle.
High level of client interaction in support of requirements definition and documentation.
Lead project team in requirements definition for custom solutions.
Statement of Work generation and management.
Development of project estimation worksheets. Development and management of MS project plans and schedules.
Direct interface with engineering staff in the development of the defined solution.
Provide expert functional support in resolution of problems or questions relating to client projects.
Provide support for pre-sales activities.
Perform functional knowledge transfer and training to client personnel.

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Architecture or Business Information Systems or equivalent experience.
Strong domain experience in payments, financial transactions, imaging and document workflow.
Seasoned Project Manager in a consultative or professional services environment involving external clients.
Proven track record of leading cross functional teams to successful, timely deliveries
Experience managing projects relating to systems and solutions
Strong Microsoft Office experience.
Minimum five years technical development experience..
MUST HAVE: Minimum of three years healthcare project management experience.
Travel is required up to 50%.

Web Software Developer

Position Description

The Web Software Developer writes, documents and tests web applications and web services aimed at delivering content via the Internet to the company's customers. The Web Software Developer participates in the development, implementation and maintenance of high-availability applications. This position performs all traditional software development activities in accordance with the Software Development Life Cycle Plan and contributes the software development process improvement efforts.

Primary Responsibilities

Develop, document and test web applications and web services.
Participate in system design activities.
Recommend methods to optimize utilization of engineering resources to accelerate delivery schedules.
Interface with other members of a project team to effectively and efficiently deliver solutions to the company's customers.
Evaluate and recommend technologies that contribute value to the engineering organization or to the solutions produced by the engineering organization.

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Undergraduate degree in Computer Science.
8+ years software development experience in a managed development environment.
8+ years experience using Microsoft server and development platforms, specifically Windows Server 2000, Windows Server 2003, IIS, Windows XP, Visual Studio, and Visual Source-Safe.
5+ year recent web application/web service design and development experience using Visual C#, ASP.NET and MS SQL Server 2000/2005.
Mature software development methodology exposure, including a working knowledge of XP or Iterative, Agile methodologies.
Proven record of successfully developing software in a service-provider or professional services environment.
Well-organized and detail-oriented with strong abilities in problem solving as well as oral and written communication.
Self starter requiring very little detailed directions and able to quickly adapt to a fast-pasted and changing environment.
