Senior SaaS Channel Manager - Full time

Position Description

eGistics, a leading provider of hosted document management solutions, is seeking an executive with a proven track record in developing and managing indirect sales channels.  Potential partners may include service bureaus/BPOs, systems integrators, hardware manufacturers and distributors, and independent software vendors (ISVs), among others.  Candidates should have expertise and experience with these types of organizations, and other potential channels for eGistics' solutions.

This individual will be responsible for all phases of the development of eGistics' indirect channel, including, but not limited to: identifying, qualifying, closing and managing reseller agreements; developing the pricing and packaging of solutions for indirect channels; coordinating marketing and activities; and ensuring that sales through indirect channels meet the company's revenue objectives.

Candidates should be self-starters with a track record of successfully developing sales channels.  Candidates also should have excellent communications and sales skills, an enthusiasm for developing new markets, and a strong desire to lead the development and execution of a new sales program.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a Channel Strategy in-line with product and corporate goals, for identified markets
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of Value Added Resellers
  • Leverage Web-cast presentations and webinars to effectively demonstrate the features and functions of eGistics's solutions
  • Negotiate and close channel deals and partner agreements
  • Manage complex relationships requiring proven negotiation skills with executives
  • Develop and execute business plans with partners that deliver on revenue objectives for both organizations
  • Develop an effective training program that both delivers measurable training skills to partners and revenues to eGistics
  • Work closely with Marketing to create and deliver marketing materials that support growing the channel partner network, and support channel partners in their own sales efforts
  • Work within and across eGistics to develop a channel program that effectively partners and integrates with sales, marketing, delivery and support functions

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Working knowledge of cloud-based and SaaS solutions
  • Experience and expertise in electronic document management, and the eco-system of vendors and business models
  • Successful sales experience working with partners; with a track record of exceeding quotas
  • Ability to develop new markets, and work in a start-up like environment
  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous work streams and multiple relationships
  • Strategic selling and negotiation skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel
  • Bachelors degree required, MBA a plus.
