Step One
Items requiring decisioning are identified by your remittance platform and are transmitted to eGistics' hosted document management platform for staging.
Step Two
The eGistics CDM solution groups items into customer-specific queues based on the decision status of each item (hold, no decision, etc.). Your operators -- or your customer's operators -- use a browser to securely log-in and access their specific decision queues.
Step Three
Operators then update or add necessary information to correct items (remittance documents). The eGistics CDM solution automatically balances transactions, displaying a running total and error messages. Users also have the ability to accept, reject or hold decision items, and can add comments to explain the decision taken.
Queues are "swept" at pre-defined times each day so reviewed items can be extracted and returned to the remittance processing work flow for final processing; users continue "working" the items in a decisioning queue until it closes.
Step Four
At a customer-determined time each day, the decisioning queue is closed and eGistics uses customer-created business rules to determine the final decision status — "auto-accepted" or "auto-declined" — for any items that have not been decisioned. Decisioned items are returned to the processor's remittance work flow for same-day processing. The eGistics CDM solution also supports multi-day queues for decision cycles that extend beyond current-day processing.

Tailored to Your Needs
The eGistics CDM solution can be private-labeled for each client, and the application offers many opportunities for customization based on a user's needs (controlled by an administration function).
Additionally, the CDM solution includes robust Summary and Detail activity reports. Data for the reports can be sorted by group (company or division of a company), date ranges, user ID, and item status (accepted, hold, no decision, rejected, secondary, auto-accepted, auto-rejected).
